Any personal information we obtain is held and used in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, and the Privacy Act 2020 when it comes into force on 1 December 2020.
Personal information may be collected directly through such means as our website, email, in person or over the phone or it may be collected indirectly through third party providers such as SEEK, LinkedIn or Trade Me Jobs. Our collection of information such as, but not limited to, contact details, work history, skills, qualifications, proof of identity and any other personal information you provide us, are relevant to an employment application. This information is used for the sole purpose of aiding you in any future employment applications. Personal information is stored on our secure devices or servers and is only shared to aid your future employment with your express permission.
We will obtain your consent prior to conducting any pre-employment checks such as employment references, criminal record checks, credit checks, psychometric testing. Any information collected from a third party will be treated in accordance with this privacy policy.
You agree that all information you have provided to The Recruitment Workshop is true, accurate and with no omissions which could be of consequence to an employment application. If personal information changes through the course of a recruitment assignment, you agree to update us.
You are entitled to access the personal information that you have provided to us. This entitlement does not extend to a situation where we have gained information about you from a third party, on a confidential basis, such as a reference check.
From time to time we may have links from our website to other websites, our privacy policy does not extend to these third party sites.
